Mayor’s Remarks:
1. Following the Mid-Autumn Festival and Double Tenth Day holiday weekends in early October, another three-day holiday weekend will begin this Friday. All event organizers are urged to implement traffic control and management measures rigorously to ensure public safety and smooth operations. Going forward, all events, whether organized by city departments or local business districts, must include on-site facilities, such as garbage sorting stations and public restrooms, and must ensure that a clean and sanitary environment is maintained throughout the event. Meanwhile, the police, volunteer traffic officers, volunteer police, and neighborhood patrol teams are instructed to strengthen public security measures to prevent and deter potential incidents.
2. As the city council is currently in session, all relevant bureaus and departments are expected to clarify issues raised by council members and respond to public inquiries regarding public policies promptly. It is important to stay updated on timely news developments, monitor the spread of information and online public opinion, and issue appropriate responses in a timely manner.
