Mayor’s Remarks:
1. The weather is starting to get cold lately; please stay warm. I urge concerned departments to continue to follow mask mandates and practice epidemic prevention measures while hosting large events.
2. The end of the year is coming around, yet many construction projects are still ongoing. I ask concerned departments to communicate with local businesses and plan alternative routes before starting construction projects.
3. Recently, we have received criticism for arcade designs in Tainan City. I ask the Public Works Bureau to consider implementing stringent review standards when issuing building and usage permits for office buildings and townhouses. Builders should agree on paper not to alter the structure and purpose of arcades.
4. I ask the Bureau of Education to ensure that sufficient human resources are allocated for reconstruction of building no. 3 in Xiaying District’s Dongsing Elementary School and the public tender for constructing new school buildings for Tainan Municipal Third Preschool.
5. I ask the Agriculture Bureau to compile a report on the effectiveness of utilizing drones for fertilization and pest prevention. Please submit this report to me.
