Mayor’s Remarks:
1. With the presidential and legislative elections approaching, local candidates are closely scrutinizing the city's municipal development. The city government welcomes constructive criticism from various sectors with an open mind. However, should any candidates spread misinformation about Tainan through the media, concerned departments are urged to proactively identify such misinformation and provide clarifications. The Department of Information and International Relations is requested to stay informed and assist in clarifying misinformation. With a spirit of mutual responsibility, departments maintain a clear channel of communication with each other and actively debunk any false information.
2. This Sunday marks the Zeng Wen Reservoir Marathon, and next year, the Tainan Half Marathon. The Bureau of Sports and the organizers are advised to prioritize athlete rights and traffic planning, especially concerning shuttle services and parking. Early confirmation is crucial to avoid parking and traffic issues as well as unforeseen events. The Bureau of Sports and related departments should diligently handle pre-event planning.
3. I ask the Indigenous Peoples Affairs Commission to effectively manage the budget for establishing the Beitouyang Settlement Comprehensive Service Center.
4. I urge the Department of Public Works to expedite the construction project at Madou Park 11.
5. Chunghwa Telecom visited the municipal government today (5th). Suggestions raised during the meeting should be promptly addressed by concerned departments to enhance administrative efficiency.
