Major’s Remarks:
1. This week, the Tainan city government launched the "Sudan Red Additive-Free Food Safety Label Management" campaign. Under this initiative, city authorities will conduct inspections of Sudan Red importers individually and work closely with distributors. The objective is to enable end businesses, such as restaurants, food stalls, and commercial areas, to manage the Sudan Red additive concern independently. This approach ensures transparent standards for citizens to adhere to, enabling them to discern and select safe products readily and effectively.
2. To provide peace of mind in childcare settings, the Social Affairs Bureau has unveiled initiatives aimed at bolstering inspections and upgrading hardware equipment in childcare centers. The Social Affairs Bureau is tasked with providing ongoing guidance to both home-based childcare providers and childcare centers to facilitate the installation of monitoring systems. Additionally, every social worker and inspector will be equipped with a work recorder to elevate the quality of visits. These measures aim to provide parents with increased reassurance while simultaneously ensuring the protection of children's rights and interests.
3. The Agriculture Bureau is urged to monitor this year's mango production quantity closely and reach out to potential distributors and consumer companies proactively in advance.
