Mayor’s Remarks:
(1) Bureaus and departments should examine again governing buildings and offices, such as schools and land offices, and ensure that all state-owned buildings are installed with green energy generating equipment. Also, promotion of green energy in agricultural and fishery solar special zone should be continued. The government’s goal of reaching 1 GW of capacity by 2021 is expected to be fulfilled by the end of this year, thanks to the efforts of all bureaus and the collaboration with citizens and companies. Based on the fruitful results achieved by the previous two mayors, Mayor Lai and Mayor Lee, the government will continue pushing the project forward.
2. The Tourism and Travel Bureau’s report on Tainan’s summer tourism promotion plan. (refer to written sources for details)
Decision: Approved for reference filing
Mayor’s Remarks:
(1) Summer vacation is the peak season of Tainan’s tourism. Promotional activities should be completed and reach its planned goals. Aside from the existing promotional channels of the Department of Information and the Travel Bureau, all bureaus and departments are expected to help with the promotion.
(2) Relevant bureaus should implement traffic and safety complementary measures to avoid accidents.
(3) The Bureau of Education should inform schools to remind students things to pay attention to when travelling during summer vacation.
