Mayor’s Remarks:
Although the novel coronavirus outbreak is still raging, dengue fever prevention work needs to begin. I appreciate the hard work from the Public Health Bureau. As the plum rain season is approaching, the Bureau and other concerned departments should reinforce the removal of containers and potholes of standing water and conducted relevant promotion. Around this time last year, Tainan City reported zero dengue fever case of local transmission. We hope to keep the same record this year as well, contain the spread of the disease, and even surpass the success we had last year.

Mayor’s Remarks:
School buildings renovation or reconstruction aims for providing a better education environment for the next generation, which sometimes involve a budget of over hundreds of millions of dollars. I really appreciate the Bureau of Education’s efforts in fighting for the most rebuild and reinforce funds from the central government’s budget; I also look forward to the results of the subsidized projects. Although there are no school buildings rebuild projects planned by the central government in the near future, we can still actively cooperate with them in the planning of public budget and annual plans to appeal for help in remodeling schools.
